Drew advises clients on the formation and growth of new and developing business entities, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, and provides assistance to clients in connection with a wide range of business, transactional, and commercial contract matters. Drew regularly represents both companies and investors in corporate transactions involving private equity and debt financing, targeted strategic investments by investment limited partnerships and limited liability companies, mergers and acquisition transactions (including buyers and sellers in stock, asset and merger transactions), joint development arrangements and strategic alliances.

Prior to joining Dwyer Murphy Calvert LLP in April 2006, Drew was a corporate securities and venture capital attorney in the Austin office of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P.

Drew is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Travis County Bar Association and the Austin Young Lawyers Association. Drew received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.S. in biomedical science, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University. In 2005 and 2006, Drew was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Texas Monthly magazine in the area of corporate law.

Drew enjoys spending time with his wife, Kylie, daughter, Annie, son, Dane, and other family and friends. His outside interests include hunting, mountain biking, outdoor cooking and college football.
